Implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka
Implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka (IKM) sudah dimulai, ada pelatihan-pelatihan di tahun pelajaran 2022-2023 baru ini. Pelatihan tidak hanya Pengawas juga Pendidik pada satuan Pendidikan yang sudah memilih opsi Kurilum Merdeka atau belum (masih memilih opsi menggunakan Kurikulum 2013 atau Kurikulum Darurat).
IKM sebagai bentuk fasilitasi kemendikbudristek melalui Direktorat Jenderal Guru dan Tenaga Kependidikan yang ditujukan kepada Ibu Bapak guru, para kepala Sekolah dalam mempersiapkan keterlibatannya pada Kurikulum Merdeka pada tahun ini sampai tahun ke depannya.
Kurikulum Merdeka sebagai opsi dalam pemulihan dalam pembelajaran dan mau tidak mau pada tahun 2024 Kurikulum Merdeka menjadi penentuan kebijakan kurikulum nasional berdasarkan evaluasi pada kurikulum pada masa pemulihan pembelajaran. Hal ini menjadi acuan evaluasi kemendikbudristek dalam mengambil kebijakan lanjutan pasca pemulihan pembelajaran.
Pemulihan pembelajaran tahun 2022 s/d. 2024, kemendikbudristek mengeluarkan kebijakan bahwa sekolah yang belum siap menggunakan Kurikulum Merdeka masih dapat menggunakan Kurikulum 2013, sebagai dasar pengelolaan pembelajaran. Begitu juga Kurikulum Darurat modifikasi dari kurikulum 2013 masih dapat digunakan oleh satuan Pendidikan.
Sebenarnya Kurikulum Merdeka menjadi angin segar dalam upaya perbaikan dan pemulihan pembelajaran setelah pandemi covid-19 yang menyebabkan banyaknya kendala dalam proses pembelajaran di satuan Pendidikan.
Pengertian Kurikulum Merdeka
Kurikulum Merdeka adalah kurikulum dengan pembelajaran intrakurikuler yang beragam di mana konten akan lebih optimal agar peserta didik memiliki cukup waktu untuk mendalami konsep dan menguatkan kompetensi. Guru memiliki keleluasaan untuk memilih berbagai perangkat ajar sehingga pembelajaran dapat disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan belajar dan minat peserta didik. Projek untuk menguatkan pencapaian profil pelajar Pancasila dikembangkan berdasarkan tema tertentu yang ditetapkan oleh pemerintah. Projek tersebut tidak diarahkan untuk mencapai target capaian pembelajaran tertentu, sehingga tidak terikat pada konten mata pelajaran.
Tahapan Implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka
Tahapan pertama Sekolah harus mendaftar dulu ke Penyediaan dukungan IKM yang diberikan oleh Kemendikburistek adalah bagaimana kemendikbudristek memberikan dukungan pembelajaran IKM secara mandiri dan dukungan pendataan IKM jalur mandiri, dari dukungan tersebut akan mendapatkan calon satuan pendidikan yang terdata berminat dan akan memperoleh pendampingan pembelajaran untuk mengimplementasikan Kurikulum Merdeka jalur mandiri, sehingga Guru, Kepala Sekolah dan Pengawas serta aktor lain dapat mengadakan kegiatan berbagi praktik baik Kurikulum Merdeka dalam bentuk seminar maupun lokakarya secara mandiri.
KKM di Kurikulum Merdeka
Sebenarnya dalam pembicaraan KKM ini, jauh Kurikulum Merdeka itu sudah diimplementasikan. Namun cukup sebagai wacana saja tentang KKM. Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM) yang biasanya digunakan sebagai acuan pendidik untuk menilai kompetensi peserta didik sesuai dengan Kompetensi Dasar (KD) suatu mata pelajaran atau Standar Kompetensi (SK). Di Kurikulum Merdeka, KKM tidak menjadi alat ukur dalam mengukur ketercapaian peserta didik dalam pembelajaran. Tapi di Kurukulum Merdeka mengarahkan Pendidik untuk melakukan Penilaian atau Asesmen Formatif.
Melalui asesmen formatif pada pembelajaran dilakukan untuk mengidentifikasi ketercapaian tujuan pembelajaran. Ada tiga asesmen formatif yang selama ini kita gunakan yaitu assesmen of learning, assesmen for learning dan assesmen as learning. Diantara ketiga assesmen tersebut yang sering kita gunakan adalah assesmen of learning yaitu assesmen yang dilakukan di akhir pembelajaran. Biasanya adanya pelaksanaan Penilaian Tengah Semester (PTS) atau Penilaian Akhir Semester (PAS).

Namun di Kurikulum Merdeka assmen of learning tidak menjadi Penilaian yang utama tetapi menerapkan assesmen for learning dan assesmen as learning. Aseesmen for learning yaitu assesmen dalam bentuk Penilaian ulang, remedial atau perbaikan nilai. Sedangkan assesmen as learning yaitu Penilaian yang dilakukan sesaat setelah pelajaran selesai. Dengan kata lain Penilaian dilakukan saat-saat pertemuan dalam pembelajaran. Contoh setiap kali pendidik mengajar 3 x 45 menit maka diakhir pembelajaran tersebut ada Penilaian/ assesmen untuk mengukur apakah tujuan pembelajaran sudah tercapai atau belum kepada peserta didik.
